What is oily skin? Here are a few signs that will tell you if you have oily skin.  

If your face appears shiny and gets ‘greasy’ throughout the day, or if you usually feel a need to wash their face often, then you most likely have oily skin. Oily skin is marked by large pores and shiny, thicker-feeling complexion. Your skin produces more than enough oil, so hydration isn't an issue, but blackheads and pimples usually are. 

Oily skin happens when your glands produce too much sebum, which can lead to a greasy surface, clogged pores, and acne. 

Take special notice to your T-zone - the area from your forehead down to your nose. This zone tends to become the most oily as it naturally has more active oil glands. If your T-zone is oily but the rest of your face (cheeks and chin) is normal or dry, then you may have combination skin.
